A confusing subject?
No wonder when there are more than 200 definitions for the word sustainability and little or no consensus!
For Work Inc the simplest and best definition is;
“Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”Put another way, sustainability is about passing on a planet that works.
 Drowning
The swirling, contradictory, bewildering mass of information is causing organisational paralysis. Environmental psychology has shown that alarmist messaging, intended to provoke positive action, has the very opposite effect by creating a sense of helplessness – a climate of ‘do nothing’.
 Do something!
When there is an outside chance of arresting the irreversible decline, ‘do nothing’ is clearly not an option. We must park the doom-mongering (yes, we are currently on a trajectory to total elimination of the human species…in about 200 years) and focus on making the planet bearable for generations to come. Play a part.

The services under development will help clients understand the scale of their sustainability challenge, guide them in taking positive and cost-effective action and enable them to assess the impact of that change, whilst remaining compliant and in business. The proposed services will make a quantifiable and measurable difference.
