Best in Industry Win for Work Interiors at A.I.S. Contract Awards
At this year's Association of Interiors Specialist Contractors Awards, Work Interiors won a Gold award for their fit-out project at Bruntwood’s Lowry House in Manchester. This is the third Gold Award Work Interiors has won at these prestigious awards programme.
The dramatic and truly inspiring transformation of the ground floor reception and meeting room space was undertaken by Work Interiors who delivered a full, turnkey design and build package at this 15 storey, 73,000 sq ft office development.
The judges commented that the reception lobby at Lowry House was completed with a clear understanding of what is important to the customer - an excellent mix of well executed standard products and finishes, with bespoke elements.
RIBA immediate past president Jack Pringle, partner at architects Pringle Brandon, who judged the Interior Fit-Out finalists commented: ‘The standards were extremely high and on occasions I was surprised by unexpected innovation, quality and passion for the projects.’
‘In assessing the projects I took into account the scope of each commission, which varied from contract to contract and a range of criteria such as design (if carried out by the contractor), workmanship, overall appearance, innovation, complexity, defects, sustainability and most importantly – client satisfaction.
Presented at the AIS President’s Lunch at the Dorchester in June, the AIS Contractors Awards are held annually to promote high levels of craftsmanship and design.
