Work Inc Group has made an important and meaningful commitment to sustainability.
It has joined the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) alongside significant leaders in the construction and building management industry.
The industry faces significant pressure to transform its environmental practices. UK buildings are major consumers of energy, water and materials. These levels of consumption have a significant impact not just on the environment but on the health and productivity of the people that work in them.

 40% of municipal solid waste sent to landfills. |
The UKGBC has been created to dramatically improve the sustainability of the built environment. It is an industry led, not for profit, membership based organisation to which members make a substantial, long term commitment. The organisation seeks out like-minded companies that actively want to share knowledge, provide leadership and work together to transform radically the way the built environment plans, designs, constructs, maintains and operates.

The UKGBC is part of a world-wide movement. Nine countries have now joined the World Green Building Council (W-GBC) with a further 30 countries actively working towards establishing GBCs.
