What we found:
This large financial services company has been an established provider of secured and unsecured lending for over 20 years, providing credit services to consumers, retailers and motor dealers across the UK.
The company was facing a major crisis. Their 1,000 people manned call centre in Morley, Leeds, had a major disaster. The recent bad weather and storms had caused a major flood and all their people had to be evacuated as quickly as possible.
What we did
Work Services came to the rescue. Quickly.
The client needed to set up another building to house all their evacuated call centre staff as quickly as possible and with minimum disruption to the working day. Business continuity was a critical factor to ensure they could keep servicing their customers and to negate any major financial losses.
Making it Work
Work Services moved the entire set-up across the road to a temporary building in only 2 days. At the same time as moving all the furniture, Work Services had to clear out all the IT from the building before it was completely ruined. Time was the major factor to recovery. Over 10 trailer-loads and several large containers of furniture and IT equipment were loaded up, moved and then installed to the new building. It took 2 days from start to finish.
Work Services worked day and night to rescue this client from a major business disaster. Sister company Work Interiors were engaged to design, fit-out and furnish the Morley building and when finished Work Services moved everyone and every piece of furniture back again. It was a significant team effort from Work Inc.
