Populating much of this site is the humble honey bee. Why?
Quite simply the bee symbolises much that is important and positive for Work Inc Group and its people. The bee is also a stark reminder of our commitment to protect the environment.

 Design and Delivery
- Bees are magnificent constructors. They work at great pace, create very little waste and use natural materials – much of it re-cycled. What they construct is robust and stands the test of time.
- Design is fundamental. The finished product is highly intricate and complex, whilst retaining an element of beauty and fascination.
- Bees are highly flexible about the space in which they construct and operate. They are found in a wide variety of locations and design to the space available.
- Their health and safety record is exemplary. Safe constructors.
- They work at great pace to create productive space. They know that time spent constructing is time not producing honey.

Efficiency and Teamwork
- Once constructed, the bees use of space is incredibly efficient – a typical hive standing one metre high will contain more than 25,000 individual bees, each knowing exactly what is expected in terms of participation and output.
- Teamwork is an essential ingredient. Coordinating the activities of 25,000 units of production takes a very special organisation.
- Their space works for them. It is literally a hive of industry from the minute construction is complete. 25,000 bees produce more than nine times their own weight in honey.

Under threat
And yet for all their positive attributes, skill and capability the bees are also under threat.. A recent unexpected and inexplicable reduction in the world-wide honey bee population tells us that something is wrong. Something significant has changed, almost certainly linked to a change in the environment. Einstein predicted when the bees are gone the planet is finished.
Bees are our barometer on change. We need to protect them and in order to do that we must radically change our thinking about our own behaviour as fellow occupants of the planet.
The bees’ plight only serves to heighten Work Inc Group’s vigorous pursuit of all aspects of sustainable building management. Looking after the planet only makes sense – for the bees and for us.
